Carey Mitchell
I'm Carey Mitchell, a proud mother of three amazing children Lucca 22, Reno 20 and Jaeger nearly 3. I work full-time for Eastland Group in Kawerau at a Geothermal Power Station and in my downtime, I help my fiance manage our business Drainslayers.
I'm really excited to participate in this year's Dancing for Life EBOP. It's going to be a huge change for me finally to be dancing on the stage instead of working backstage as a dance mum. Hopefully, I live up to my expectations of being a dancer!
William Pinckney
I love dancing, but I’ve never made the time to make it a priority, sport and exercise always took its place. I have completed two dance papers as part of my physical education degree whilst at university. This included two dance performances, one group and one solo.
I'm originally from Wellington, I relocated to Whakatane in March and see this as an opportunity to have fun, meet new people all while supporting the Life Education Trust EBOP.
Carey & William will be dancing the Cha cha cha - a dance that emphasises Cuban motion, distinguished by the chasses (cha-cha-cha)
